ABOUT THE ARTIST

 

Alan Young is a visual artist. He integrates painting, sculpture and collage. Alan Young is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art and the Brooklyn Museum School. He has been exhibiting professionally since 1970.

He has exhibited in the following gallery's in New York: The Frank Marino Gallery, Julian Pretto, The Razor Gallery, P.S.1, Drawing Center, 112 Green Street, ABC, New York University Gallery, and No Rio.

His other exhibits include: Weatherspoon Gallery in North Carolina, The Baltimore Museum, Arte Fiera International Fair in Italy, Edward Hopper Foundation, Trenton State Museum in New Jersey, and 'La Revue Moderne' in Paris.

Alan currently resides in an 1800's farmhouse in rural New Jersey and spends his days painting in his barn converted studio spaces.
